- They realize that the show's going to flop once reviews come out... and are trying to sell tickets now. (Hey, if I read an article that a limited run of something is going open-ended and is planned for other theatres, I'd assume it's pretty good and consider buying a ticket)
- They have no idea what sort of mess the show is.
- They see that it's a mess, but they believe they can make the changes needed before opening night (and I really hope they can).
