Broadway is Expensive. Times Square is a pain to walk through. Intermission isn't enough time to scarf down that $12 Watered-Down-Mojito which you can't bring to your seat. It is a weird choice, yes, but it won't ruin her career. If Jeanine Tesori, Thoroughly Modern Millie aside, is doing the music for this, then there might be some hope for Shrek The Musical. I can't even imagine another person in the role of Fiona, now that I think about it.

Honestly, I don't think there's much that can ruin her career right now. She was on Conchords!!! Also, she kept her head quite above water in Young Frankenstein. Even those who've become Disney-on-Broadway's personal bitches are still without their careers ruined.Hey, how come Sutton hasn't been in some strange obscure off-Broadway play yet? Seems about time...

I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt before I think completely that this is a piece of...junk... musical.If anyone can make it work, as Fiona, it would be Sutton.Although, I could definetly see Celia Keenan-Bolger in the role.

She has a weird habit of being in shows that bomb or suck really bad. Examples include Little Women and Young Krappystein. (Course, TMM and DC are exceptions...)
